A: nearest, yes... by the doorway to the garage. quite far from me know actually. And I've use one before too.
Story:
Our neighbor's porche caught on fire at the end of their driveway. They were going to the mechanics to have the transmition looked at, and he stopped at the end of his driveway when he smelled gasoline. He got out and swush.. the tank caugh on fire!
There were several fire extinguishers there, but no one brought the right one. I ran into the garage, and grabed the one for oils and such, I forget what it's called now. It helped a little, but by then the fire was fairly large, well compaired to the tiny porche. Very sad watching a proche burn up. The fire depo arrived and put the fire out, but all that was left was 4 flat tires, and a gutted car. The seats were just metal frames with black stuff hanging off and even the steering wheel fell off!
I got pictures on 35mm somewhere and scanned a few. Very different looking car now.... total wreck, they had to junk it.

Um, yeah, it's kinda the law here. I actually got ticketed for it once.
Story
About three years ago I was partying at a friend of a friend's place, ended up staying over. My friend had to be somewhere at 8 the next morning, so we had to get up by then after sleeping only a few hours on very uncomfortable couches. So, early in the morning, I'm half asleep, get in the car and don't bother putting on my seatbelt which I almost never do. Sure enough, she got pulled over for speeding and I got a seatbelt ticket.
Yeah, boring story, I know...
