Hello,

My friend's son has to undergo a major surgery this october. He is Six-year-old..

His Ailment:

Quote: He has a condition Cerebral Palsy. This condition has meant that he is unable to walk and is a full time wheelchair user. He has Spastic Diplegia type of Cerebral Palsy and is going in for a much needed surgery in October to prevent damage to his hips that would otherwise prevent him from being able to sit and function without extreme pain.

So, I am collecting donations on his behalf. All the funds will be of use for him.
Funds from the DP members are going to help his family purchase home equipment that will assist with his recovery and intensive physio he will need to go through.

All Payments via Paypal!

Paypal : bizmaniac[at]msn[dot]com

Put the Subject as FundRaiser... This help from your side will be helpful.. Make generous donations..

Thanks.

So, how are you going to prove that this is a legit fundraising cause and not a scam to pad your bank account? We've probably all seen those cam emails - some poor child is dying from a terrible disease and if you only forward this email to as many people as you can the child will receive money for their medical casuses.

I don't mean to make fun of a sick child, but you do need to provide more details if you want us to believe you.

And BTW, when you post your message on a bunch of different forums you might want to edit your post to use the right acroynm.

Okay, from researching this on the DP thread it loosk like this is sort of legit, however, the parent of the child involved was not aware of this other person's fundraising efforts and these efforts were not approved by the family.

If you want to help out in this situation you should contact the family directly rather than going through an unauthorized third party.

Resurrection - you may have good intentions here but it really seems like you're trying to scam people. It would probably be better to post a link to the family's websites instad of trying to get people to send money to you instead.
