What is yours? Sometimes, you just got to chill out with your favorite summer drink. Cool

Mine is an icy pina colada and Margarita's with a touch of salt on the side. Also, Dunkin' Donuts' Mocha Coolatas are pretty good. I like pretty much any mocha/chocalate frozen drinks. Starbucks makes superb ones, too.

Well, when I have been working hard and am absolutely dying of thrist, the thing I look forward to the most is a big tall glass of iced tea. (and my recliner and the remote control of course)

It depends on my mood. Sometimes I feel like a nice cold beer. Other times, a Smirnoff Ice is good. And then there's those days when just plain water is the best thing.

Depends on what time of day it is! Tea is always my fav in the mornings no matter how hot it is, ice cold Rinena is next on the list, then if it's alcohol then it has to be Vodka & something (a bottle of Smirnof Black Lable in the freezer at all times to be drunk neat with ice Wink)

Blackcurrents:are very small dark purple fruits that grow in bunches on bushes...something like grapes.

It's rich in vitamin "C" which also sells very well in Malaysia.

In the US (or at least in California), you must be 21 or older to consume alcohol.

I know your comments already, so keep 'em to yourself Wink

Milk. Fresh full milk.
The stuff that's nearly impossible to get in the USA.
And that skimmed stuff just tastes wrong.

This is going to sound weird, but my ideal summer drink is coffee, yep, hot coffee.

I think some bright spark once said that hot drinks on a hot day actually cool you down, umm ok

I just love the taste of coffee.

As for the milk - slim milk and powder milk etc are bad for you, well not so much bad but rather not good for you like real milk, its missing all the floruide etc for healthy, strong teeth and bones. kids brought up on powder stuff or slim stuff will tend to have bad teeth and weak bones.

useless information, NZ exports about 90% of its milk products, milk, cheese, yogurts .... GE (genetic engineering) free

*must be coffee time again*

Well, the campaign I saw (I think it was 9news) was more along the lines of:

If you drink more than one gallon of milk per month for over six month, you will increase your risk to:
- get diabetes
- get heartdiseases
- get high LDL (bad cholesterine)
- die before you get 60

IMHO that's just ridicolous.
There are people that can't digest milk (australians...),
but I still think it's one of the healthiest thinks you can drink.

BTW:
I drink around one litre per day.
That's ~10 Gallons per month.
For the last 25years .... hmmm ... I'm dead.

We have a TV campaign showing here at the moment which is encouraging everyone to drink more milk!! Here we have Full Fat, Semi-Skimmed & Skimmed (which is what I drink) but they all have the same amount of calcium in them just the fat contact that's different.

Yeah, we've got drink milk campaigns here too - it's been going on for a long time. They have this whole line of magazine ads with celebrities with milk mustaches. There's also ads for all sorts of other foods like cheese, Ontario produce, pork ("the other white meat")....

I think almost anything in moderation is fine, but a diet of Milk, cheese & pork ... that can't be good.

I seen something on the news today that the food pyramid is wrong. And that eating alot of grain food's can do damage, and that humans dont even need the milk group to live healthy...

WOW!

I'm sure that was from the same group that had the bad-milk campaign.

Nobody needs milk. Just swallow half a dozen of calcium pills each day.

Yeah, getting milk in the UK was much easier ... and cheaper. Can you believe that I pay more for milk than for steaks ?!
