Did you know that Gloucestershire airport in England used to blast Tina Turner songs on the runways to scare birds away.
And it's a fact!..
now here's some interesting facts I'd love to share
A group of unicorns is called a blessing.
A group of kangaroos is called a mob.
A group of owls is called a parliament.
A group of ravens is called a murder.
A group of bears is called a sleuth.
Twelve or more cows is called a flink.
A baby oyster is called a spat.
lol :blech:

Here is a good one, a lot of people may already know this but it’s interesting if you don’t:
Alan Turing invented a mechanism called the Turing machine. It was able to read off a tape, output data and change direction of the tape, this was the very first programmable computer.
Turing helped crack codes in world war II and some believe without his help we would have lost the war.
Turing was homosexual and because after the war in the 1950’s it was seen as socially unacceptable Turing committed suicide by biting into a poisoned apple.
Macintosh paid tribute to Turing by making their now world famous logo a bitten apple!!

Homosexuality wasn't merely "socially unacceptable", it was a felony. Turing was forced to take hormone injections, to avoid a prison sentence, which then had some very degrading consequences, leading to his suicide.
