Some of you may be aware of Dunstan Orchards blog: http://www.1976design.com/blog

To those unfamiliar: He's a Web Designer that has shared many good coding tips and tutorials to those hungry for knowledge. Not only that but I have viewed his site with much respect, his knowledge of Javascript, XHTML/CSS, Server-side coding is almost unsurpassed.

Unfortunately he has stopped posting to his blog as he no longer has the time, a real shame. Sad

I guess everything has to come to an end eventually, hopefully he'll come back soon, I for one want to wish him all the best for the future. Cheers!

I've never heard of the site, nor the guy leading it...

Perhaps only the British know of him? Smiling

No, he's pretty big in the whole standards/design scene, although not as big as Zeldman, Bowman, or Shea. I wasn't really a regular reader, but I too am sad to see him go. And that header was AWESOME!

I wasn't a regular reader either. I only vaguely remember him from maybe a year ago.

Can't say I'm particularly moved by this. The overall turnover of leaders and experts in the field is still pretty good... individuals naturally leave every so often for understandable reasons. But I do wish him well in whatever he turns his attention to. Smiling

Well yes it does leave a space that will - no doubt - be rapidly filled.

He's not that well known, but that header was worth a mention in itself Laughing out loud
