I have been a night owl since i was young. I always go for the 3rd shift jobs.

I have never been able to keep a first shift job fo longer than 1 year.

Since i've been making money on the internet i really stay up all night.

When do you sleep?

Ah, am glad there's someone else who's a night owl. Quite often the wife comes downstairs to go to work and I'm still awake! Smiling

Unfortunately the rest of the world only seems to function during the day (banks, most shops, call centres etc.) so sleeping all day doesn't seem to work very well. I could perhaps do what my father in-law does: go to sleep at 8pm and get up at 4am, get all the advantages of night-time quiet but still get to see the daytime. Smiling

*** EDIT ***
Plus he beats everyone to the sun loungers when they're on holiday.

I'm a vampire my self, even if I try to sleep at night I cant, maybe its insomnia, but I got used to coding and tinkering stuff at night, at day I am usually a morning person too but its odd, since I sleep at about 3AM, then wake at about 6AM and play with my Labrador, and tinker my Jeep, then do guy house stuff, like checking water and electric meters and repair broken things... Then at about 9 I take a power nap till about 11. Then I get coffee, eat lunch, do the internet stuff, till afternoon, then round again...

im always sleep at night ofcourse!.. but sometimes i cant sleep at night maybe because of the things that disturb me. i dont want to here a sound when im already in my bed. I get dizzy when i can't sleep ant night. I dont want to sleep at the morning because there are many things that i have to accomplish. Sleeping at night is much more comfortable rather than sleep at the morning......

I'm the boring one who sleeps normal hours! Really, I find I get more done if I don't sleep too late in the morning (when I have the chance! I start work at 8:30, so I don't have much of a choice during the week). I also like to enjoy the daylight while we have it, especially in the winter when the days are short.

I've always been more of a night person though - I wish I could get up at 6 or 7. I'd get so much done!

I used to be a nightowl, but now since I babysit turbo-tot nephew every day I have to be up at 8:00, sometimes it's 7:00.

I do however still stay up way too late, normally going to bed at 2 or 3 in the morning. Saturday and Sunday I sleep until whenver I feel like getting up...normally around 1 in the afternoon.

Some days when hubby and sister don't have to go to work, I also get to sleep late.

Sleep...ha! I miss those days... Sticking out tongue

Between 5 days of school, 5 days of work, and as much time as I spend on the internet for various websites, etc, I get very little sleep most days. Last night I racked up quite a few hours though; I think it was somewhere around 5 hours of sleep. That was nice. Smiling

I prefer to stay up until the sun rises when I need to get stuff done that involves reading, research, thinking, writing or coding. But I prefer daylight hours for getting out, socialising or exercising.

I don't like going to sleep at any time, and I detest waking up.

I know one great proverb: "Pay your taxes and sleep at night without problems". I always sleep at night, because I pay taxes.

Now I advise you to sleep at night and work with good light... Just got offline for three months because my eyes started to die on me, my optometrist didn't want me to stare at any monitor for too long, but I'm currently 80% recovered but now I have prescription glasses...

I have the vampire hours too, I've been getting up at 1 in the afternoon and getting to bed about 4 in the morning.
But for me all my energy is at its height in the silent hours! So twit terwhoo I'm night-owling every night Smiling
