Anybody see the premier of Boot Camp last night?

I'm not into Survivor-type shows but this one looks good!

Nope. I heard a commercial on the radio about it and figured it was dumb. The only reality type show I like is the Mole. All the others blow in my opinion.

Saw an ad for it... looks interesting, but probably will be a flop, like so many other reality shows. Survivor: accept no substitutes! Smiling

Boot Camp looks sweet. I was busy last night so I couldn't see it though. I have never heard of 'The Mole' what is it?

Got boring after the first season. The only reason people watch it is 1) they hope to see blurred out nudity, and 2) people get in major arguments.

I thought it was a alright show.. not bad, and it adds a new twist.

I saw about half of Boot Camp and turned it off in disgust. Survivor I winner Richard Hatch set the precedent for sniping, manipulating and backstabbing and it seems that EVERY Boot Camp player read his book. The problem is he was clever enough to pull off a few Machiavellian schemes and these bozos are not even close to that level. And of course, yet another fine job by Fox of picking qualified contestants. That one girl quit about an hour after they got off the bus and all she went through was a bit of yelling. Stick her on the complete losers couch with Darva Conger and that weird couple with a baby from Temptation Island.

But on the bright side, kiss Jerri goodbye! Smiling

The Boot Camp guy Meyer seems to be pretty good at manipulation.

Personally I think the show appeals to people who would like to try military boot camp for the physical training, discipline, and the challenge without actually having an obligation to serve or the stigma of dropping out.

I know the military would never go for it but it could be a good way to raise funds for the budget. Smiling
