LOL. Could be a big money maker for the bars. They'd probably sell more beer if they could get all the empty mugs refilled right away!

we're being constantly monitored on cctv at work, on the street there's lots of government databases on us and now they're monitoring our drinks... what next? How often we go to the toilet....

Hah! I tried to remain silent on this one until I got this idea, why not use the alarm for a good cause... Like when you had two drinks it sounds off "Drink water, prevent dehydration" ... a great help for those that never drinks water enough while they drink alcohol a lot resulting in UTI and dehydration...

at the moment people moan becuase they're not getting served quick enough. In the future they'll moan about how nearly empty their glass got before it was filled up...
