I realize this is a very hot topic - but was wondering what most here thought about the need to have a renewed investigation of 9/11? There is increasing evidence that the 9/11 commission did not do nearly a sufficient job of investigating the facts.
A recent zogby poll showed that 70 million Americans feel that the investigation should be reopened.... so this is not a "fringe" or "tin hat" opinion.
Not here to pick a fight, or make anyone upset. Just asking.

Well, the way I see it, if this case is opened up, more people are going to die needlessly. It will just be another reason for someone to declare war on someone else...

Hmmm. I haven't heard that take before.
Renegade, there are many who feel that multiple thousands have died
needlessly as a result of the Bush administration lying us into an illegal
war, using 9/11 as a pretense.
9/11 has also been used as the reason for the decimation of
American liberties through the so called "Patriot Act".
There are a disturbing number of unanswered questions as to
how the events of September 11, 2001, the worst crime in
American history, actually came about.
How is finding out the truth going to make things worse?
Please elaborate on your view point. Thank you.

Yes, Steve40, also known as the "Reichstag fire". Just one of many "false flag"operations, perpetrated by world governments, including the US.

There is a high possibility of a comparison there.

Right, but from what I've studied, the main reason for the war in Iraq is
not so we'll have more oil, but so the availabilty of oil coming out of
Iraq can be controlled. By controlling the availablity of oil,
they control the price.
Back to my original question: Because of the myriad of unanswered questions that
the 9/11 Commission did not cover, should the investigation of 9/11 be reopened?
One example of the many questions: Why did a third building, WTC 7, collapse that day
(even though it was not hit by a plane)? It had a couple of fires, and supposedly
had some damage to it's south side, but neither of these situations can account for
a complete, vertical collapse occuring at free-fall speed. And keep in mind: no steel frame
buildings have ever collapsed due to fire in history... and THREE collapsed in one day
on 9/11.

If you watched closely that day, you may have noticed just before the collapse, liquid seemed to be spilling out from the bottom levels just under the smoke. No fuel fire would melt steel, weaken it yes, totally melt it no. Only thermite would do that.
All three of those buildings contained massive amounts of asbestos, and it would have cost more than a new building to renovate them. SO!. The oil we have mentioned is all being pumped one direction, Guess?? .
I really don't know if this thread is wise or not, we may have said enough!.

erm... America is the furtherst thing away from Nazi germany. I know that, and I'm not even an American. Freedom of speech and all.
I think it is a little stupid to suggest that the U.S. government killed 1000s of its citizens just to start a middle east conflict that ha sactually increased the rate of global terrorism.
As for re-opening a new investigation, I'm not entirely sure there's anything new to investigate? What would you suggest they should investigate other than what they have already done? And please outline how they would investigate - any evidence is buried under tons of rubble and has probobly been destoryed.

Yes its is probably a little late now. The tons of rubble are not even there any more, most of what was left of the steel, is probably in the cars we drive around now. Yes freedom of speech, that depends on who you are talking about lately.
The patriot act took care of that!.
Hmm, we all remember Lee Oswald, Jack Ruby, and Marylin Monrow. Funny they never got to speak??. That's another bucket of worms, there has never been a satisfactory answer to. Jimmy Hoffa went on vacation, but nobody knows where. So freedom is all a mater of interpretation.

locatepeople, you said: "I don't know if there's reason to investigate."
Oh, yes there is, very much so.
Go here to see the Top 40 Reasons why there needs to be further investigation (there are many more, but this is a good start:

The reinvestigation of 9/11 is CRITICAL to taking back America. To study what really happened, start with any or all of the following sites: physics911.net, st911.org or .911truth.org. Then help spread the truth. That's it for me on this topic. I wish you all well.
