So, I'm an avid music lover...and want to know what my fellow forumers listen to
I think you can tell a lot about "most" people by what music they listen to, even if it's just that they have terrible musical taste
What have you been listening to recently...or what are your fave bands
These are what I listen to most days while working...
Roger Waters - The Pros and Cons of Hitchhiking
Robert Plant - Dreamland
Led Zeppelin - No Quarter (also various other Zep albums on a daily basis)
Roy Harper - Flat Baroque and Berserk
Jimi Hendrix - Acoustic Blues
David Byrne - Once in a Lifetime
Louden Wainwright III - Final Exam / BBC Sessions
(I know it's an O not E ... T.S.M.N.W.A
)
Gomez - Various Albums
Jeff Buckley - Grace
As for what I listen to on a night...that's a whole load more music...

Well, I don't listen to a lot of music when I'm at my computer because I tend to leave the TV on behind me, typically on something comical or news. I do LOVE music though, and I've been listening most recently to:
The Katinas
Rome (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8nU7AfjXim4&feature=related - he's done some great covers)
Jason Mraz
Sugarland
CCR (nothing new, but always great)
The Eagles (ditto)
Josh Groban
Whatever the radio plays
I'm a very OPEN listener; I generally just shut out rap...

I really got into the Doors when I was young .. but there's such a tragically small amount of material...
Not quite so with the Beatles, or maybe they are just more re-listenable

My favorite band is beatles. The Beatles were a pop and rock group from Liverpool, England. They are one of the most commercially successful and critically acclaimed bands in the history of popular music. The band's principal members were John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, and Ringo Starr.

Wow - somebody needs to explain who the Beatles were...
Yes, I did have electric lights in my house when I was kid!
on a somber note, today is the 28th (I think) anniversary of John Lennon's death... we miss him still

Me too. But surely you can at least pick your favourite top 5 bands?
I find it hard as I too listen to a lot of different music, but I could narrow it down to 5 if I tried.
