How big is your hard drive?
How big is your hard drive (in your primary computer), and how much space are you using?
I'm a lightweight. I have a 36 gig (10,000 rpm) hard drive and I use about 16 gigs. That's done me good for years.

I have 80GB & 200GB drives. 110GB is allocated for Ubuntu, 80GB for WinXP, and 80GB for Vista. I only have about 25GB free for Ubuntu, not sure on the others. I mainly use the bulk of my HDD space for pictures and backups from various websites & such.

My laptop has 100g, about 1/2 used since I store larger stuff on my server, which has a total of 640g (2x160, 2x320) and that is about 80% full.

Using about 75G out of 300G. I don't have a lot of stuff. Most of it is (free) software, including old versions that I haven't bothered to clear. I also have a few gigabytes of free or nearly free media – CC music, TED talks and the like.
Previously I used 20G, 40G and 80G disk arrangements. At 80G I struggled to fill it with data, and not much has changed since upgrading.

I have an 80gb in my laptop (actualy 74.5gb) and I have 43.4 free. Most of it is for software that I have collected thinking Oh I might use this, and than I never have used it... I wish I had a firewire for when I do video editing. Other than that It is mostly web docs and scripts.

I have a small drive too. Only 120Gb. Someone could tell that this is good, but I'm a huge fan of rock/metal bands and I download about 10-15Gb of new music every week. Also I download a videos, and that's why I think that my HDD is too small.
