Hello,
I'll start off introducing myself; My names is John and I am 14 years old. I have recently became very interested in web design and hope to continue this great passion of mine. I am glad to of found this board and how nice everyone is. I'm starting to take a lead off of the basics and have been going more into web standards lately with XHTML and CSS. I hope to see you all from time to time on the board.

Welcome! I too am a young webmaster, and beleive me, you learn a lot and quickly here. When I first came here, my sites had no graphics, were built with tables and had about 2 shades of horrible blue. Now I'd like to say that I have an ok design sense, I own several graphics programs, and and am a standards junkie! In fact, my current site validates XHTML 2.0, CSS, 508, and WAI-AAA.
Hope you learn as much as I did. Should be a blast to have another youngster around here. I think it's just you me and heebiejeebieclub.

Thankyou, everyone seems so nice. Also cool to see other people on the forum that is around my age. By the way, Dragon of Ice when you said your sites were built with tables when you first started. I found many great websites built with tables for their layout and that is what I use mostly to. Just curious to see what you usually do to create your layout for your sites unless thats not what you intended to say.
