I enjoy photography, computers (duh), Linux and Mac computers, I should specify (no M$ software in my office at all).
I love hiking, gardening (butterflies!), cycling and reading too much.
Presently I am reading Tolkien's trilogy again. I first read it at the age of 8, which was 26 years ago, so I felt a refresher was in order.
I play guitar--both kinds of music.
(folk AND bluegrass!)
Actually, I enjoy a wide variety of misuc from Baroque to blues and beyond.
(alliteration).
My photos have won international contests and graced several publications. Most recently, a photo of my daughter is in this month's Friends Journal (a Quaker publication).
Yes, I'm a single daddy with a gorgeous princess who will be 4 in a couple of weeks.
I teach 7th grade language arts in rural CT.
I attend both a Unitarian-Universalist Church and a local Quaker meeting, but have also been involved in buddhist practice, both zen and tibetan.
I have been known to wear white tube socks with black shoes (sorry).
If you want to know more, there is plenty of information on either of my sites:

Just kidding.
I'm not really allergic to the teaching species... well, not that much... (forgive me — I'm a high school student)
Reading too much is my favourite hobby too. :freak:

Well, I don't use Internet Exploiter!
I am using Mozilla right now, and sometimes use Konqueror on this box (Red Hat Linux 9).
On my Mac I use Netscrape or Safari.
Have you tried Phoenix?
