Hi all. I guess you could say I am one of those who learned web development by View -> Source Code from a browser. I did that for quite some time. When I didn't know something, I got a library book. (or places like webmonkey.com)

Recently I was the Web Developer/Janitor for an Intranet website.
It was kind of cool. The bosses asked what books I needed, and I got O'Reilly's Javascript, HTML and PERL books. Smiling

Now I am the Developer/Janitor for w8lap.com. I feal more like a janitor now, because I have to clean up all the code though it is a small site. Smiling

I think my first shot at a WYSIWYG html program was something called Hotdog. Then I got Dreamweaver and was hooked. (I keep a cross and holywater just incase I run into FrontPage. :blech: Sticking out tongue )

My one downfall is that I can't figure out complimentary colors.

So there's my little HTML history.

I'm usually not one for the "Hello here I am" threads, so I don't know what people normally post.

(Disclaimer: The triple post of that link is a joke, folks.)

Seriously, welcome, and cool history of yourself. I wish more people would post a brief bio like that.

You know, I'd really hate to break up the fun, but thanks. At some point I did a search and found something called Color Blender. What EVERYONE has provided is much better. Smiling
