Hello to one and all,

Well I guess to begin with my name is Shawn and I am an internetholic.

I am 31 years old and married. I was in the Marines for 10 years until I had a car accident. I was in Iraq no I do not wish to talk about it. I love Music and even play the guitar.

I came here seeking knowledge to better myself. I also hope to give something back here when I can. I am not the most knowledgeable in site programming but can usually work it out.

Some say I am funny others say I am funny looking only time will tell what you think. I do not lie and I do not cheat. It is not in my character. I hope I can bring insight and maybe new views to forum.

Thank You all for listening to my little speech.

hi ZeroCapacity

welcome to The Webmaster Forums

ten years with the Marines provides a lot of discipline, like writing valid XHTML Smiling

I play guitar too and like to cook - when I'm not coding or bugging people here...

Good people and good info here, to be sure

As a confirmed grammar geek, I must point out it should be:

"please accept my welcome"

but we know what you meant in good faith...

You guys have stalkers here also? Thank you all for the warm welcome. I can code some but would like to learn much more. Now that I have the time to.

I mostly dealt with systems and other stuff in the Marines. Websites are not a big thing there as you could have probably guessed.

Stalkers is such a harsh term.

Accurate, but harsh Smiling

Yeah, i believe that security systems and other systems which may be vital to the survival were mainly used. (Please correct me if i am wrong)

I do not think of it as stalking. We all get to know each other on these forums and after a little while, we start to make posts after each other; as i believe that many of us share many of the same interests.

Knowledge is the key and due to that i am slowly but surely setting up a FREE Links Directory which does not require any links back. (Although they are appreciated.)

yes, we find that certain other members tend to follow the same threads and complement as well as occasionally compliment each other

rather than stalking it is more like a staggered conversation or perhaps groupthink

for some, this is not even confined to this site but spills over to other forums of similar ilk like the Drupal or open source cms community (not to be confused with open cms - but has anybody tried that?)

I need some more coffee
