Hello!
Guess it's time I introduce myself!
SO lets see, where to start off...
Well, it all started when the doctor slapped...
wait. Nevermind.
My name is chris. I've been married almost 10months now... am 22 years old and going to Arizona State University. Am doing a dual-major in accounting and management.
I find I do not like accounting...
I also practice the saturday sabath, which means being an accountant (tax, the only one i really care for) is not possible if I wanna practice my beliefs.
I don't want a crap job, so the internet is the only way I see to survive. This works great, cuz I like the internet
. I feel at home here. So ya, I'm searching for and wide for a business to run (no porn, no gambling sites) that I could make good money with. One day I'd love to design websites... but first I have to survive, and I know more (currently) about managing a business than all the intracacies of designing/developing sites. So that has to come first. I do plan to fully make whatever website I use to put up an internet business. Even if it's badly coded at first, as I learn I can remake (and will).
Anyway, that's a smidge about me and what my purpose is here
.

Welcome aboard, tallon! Myself, I started out as a Bible major at Oklahoma Christian, and ended up as a Computer Science major.

Welcome to the forums! I hope you feel at home here
(by the way, I don't know whether the internet is the only way to survive!)

It's not he only way to survive, but it's the best option that I see
. I could scout around until I finally find a job that would allow me to observe my beliefs *and* still make enough money to support my family... but I've seen people have a VERY hard time with that. Very. I'd rather by pass that entirely and go into business for myself... (with a partner or 2, max).
So it is just what kind of business? We have thought of a few retail stores that could do very well and we could run very well... but they wouldnt' survive the modern day society (by not being open friday night and saturday).
So, the best business option we see is an internet business. We could do online retail (or something) with no problems.
Of course, we wanna build the webpage from the ground up and all that... Eventually stepping into web design as a side job (for fun). That'll be many years off as we don't wanna do it until we're actually worthy of being called pros
.
Anyway, I think I rambled on long enough for now...
