G'Day Everyone :-)
Hi from Oz,
My name is Hoppy and a great big G'day to Everyone.
I've only been around this for about 4 months but will help out if I can.Once I've answered a few posts I'll put My Site up for a review, hoping maybe someone could say "something" positive
.
One forum I posted :flame: My Site at only 5/50 views said anything and nothing good so far .
I really wonder how long some people who "flame"(probably wrong too) newbies have been around computers and what their first site looked like.
Cheers Hoppy

Welcome to TWF Hoppy,
Look forward to reading your reviews of some of the other sites in the Critique section. It's always good to get views of newbies as they tend to look at things from a 'surfers' point of view rather than a long standing designer who can get set in their ways! You'll also pick up some tips and tricks as well.
Have fun

Hi Hoppy,
Glad to have you here. As for the flaming, I don't think you will flamed but you will get opinions.
If you want a "not so critical" critique, tell everyone to go "easy" on you and maybe they won't be so nit-picky.
One thing I have learned about critiques is, you may have many things that are great with your site and just a few that are bad. But more often than not you will hear from the bad things only. It is just the nature of the critique beast.
Also, just because someone doesn't like what you have on your site doesn't necessarily make it wrong. Like I told my daughter the other day. She was fussing because someone told her that it wasn't cool to be in the school band. They told her that cheerleaders were better. And I told her that if everyone was a cheerleader, then they would have nothing to cheer about.
