Hi Folks,
I just found the forums whilst searching on Google.
I'm from Cairns, Australia and have been in the industry for over 8 years now.
I run a small web design company and have a fleet of affiliate type sites and directories to my own name.
Looking forward to chatting again soon

I'd forgotten that one! What's happening in Neighbours? haven't seen it for years (always much better than Home and Away I thought).
Back to the subject of barbies (not the the doll, the flaming grill things): I always thought the Aussies were the undisputed kings of the barbie, but now I hear the US are more obsessed. Who are the kings of the BBQ anyway?

Americans call a Barbie a Cookout right?

It depends. I have lived in the southeastern U.S. most of my life. “Cookout” is common. “Barbecue” is also common. However, I usually associate barbecue with a particular type of sauce. So you would have barbecue chicken or pork in a cookout. However, there are likely other variances in other regions.
