I require one software utility prog which would merge two half duplex wav format file into single wav format full duplex file format and play as if a coversation is taking place
Audacity is free and will do it, import each file as a track then export the project to the final file. Allows you to easily shift the timing of tracks to get the two sides to line up properly.
thanxs the Audacity worked perfectly, there is one other question that is a bit challenging, I have hundreds of half duplex files stored in .wav format with random file names, some files are related to other files that needs to be merged together to make some sense out of it . Is there any software tool that can identify automatically which files are related to which other files and able to combine it and play it , can Audacity work also in this particular case also, if so how. thxs in advance.
