Why won't video files play in Safari?

I manage a website for my brother that has videos on it. The problem is that not all of the videos are viewable using Macs Safari Browser.

The funny thing is though, is that I have a confirmed report of one person being able to view one video but not the other ones.

All the videos are .mpg format. I've also tried .avi and .wmv....

Any suggestions?

Well, if you want it to work in Safari, your best bet is .mov (Quicktime) format, since that's the Mac format.

The reason why it would work for some, and not others, is simply plugins, they probably doing have the right one, simple as that.

<? echo implode('',explode('|','A|W|E|S|O|M|E')); ?>

CptAwesome is correct... the browser doesn't play the video. The plugin does.
