You can do a similar thing just through plain search engines. Something like this would produce all files they could find using the keyword and the file extension:
intitle:"index.of" (mp3) james taylor -htm -html -php -asp'
This will give you direct links to music files with the keywords james and taylor in them. Not 100% accurate, but it can find you most items you want.
Replacing 'mp3' with something like 'avi' or 'mpeg' would produce movie files.

either they use PHP, or javascript, there are tutorials or ready-made templates in the internet, jus search if you have time.
