I have just designed a site for a client, On the page I have an area with scroller bars as I want to contain the rather text heavy page within a given format.Is there a way I can change the way the scroller bars look ( not just change the colour) instead of the ones displayed by the browser?

Remember that some browsers deliberately ignore scrollbar styling (seems like all mac browsers do... will check win/linux if I get a chance).
This option uses the mootools javascript library:

Thanks Megan the first link would not work it just displayed http://79.67.6.232/BANNED/as9105.com/FOR/SPAM/and/ALLOWING/SPAMMERS/ I tried pasting it into my browser but just the same.
I took a look at the mootools links which looks good I am trying to present a more grungy looking scroll bar rather than just changing its colour is this possible?

That moo tools might help. It looks like it can make more than the normal amount of changes. With CSS you can really just change the colours.
That's weird about that link - it works fine for me. I wonder if you were banned for allowing spammers or the site was banned (?? weird ...)

Re the link it wasn't me that has been banned for allowing spammers along with the rest of the civilised world I hold spammers in contempt.
