I'd really appreciate any help here. I need to change my background image according to the visitor's screen resolution. I've got the script for detecting the resolution, and know how to use it with an 'if' statement. But is there a way to specify the background image using javascript and style sheets (which allow you to set upper left etc.) It seems a lot of surfers use 1024 x 768 screen res these days.

I couldn't find anything useful there. Decided to launch the page in full a screen instead. Thanks anyway. I uploaded the beginnings of my site at wwww.muscleshock.com.
Any comments would be appreciated if you have time to take a look.

Woody, have you got a script that changes the browser to full-screen?
For a review head over to the Website Critique forum where I will be glad to take a look, this helps us keep things organised. Thanks.

Thanks for that, shame it is an IE only deal. How are you getting round that?

The script I pointed you at was for a full screen with no borders. To launch a cross-browser full screen, go to my index page at www.muscleshock.com and check out the source code.
