Hey guys, I wanted a script that was like youtube.com where as after sign up you can upload and share movie files and also download the content. Does anyone have any suggestions or can I hire someone to edit an existing script to meet my needs? I was also wondering what the best basic PHP editing book is. I have tried installing a script onto my domain and have had a lot of trouble editing the script with Macromedia Dream Weaver.
Thanks guys.

Well personally I'd use Drupal (or some other Content Management System) as the basis for the site, then add modules like FlashVideo to do display and conversion of videos.
It won't be an easy task though, and you'll need to have experience of Linux, FFMPEG, PHP and video in general (which can get really confusing). If you can, hire someone. Problem is that as this is no easy project, it'll probably cost quite a lot of money to get someone to do it for you.
It's a fun project though, and you could learn a lot doing it yourself!
