Basically your hosting provider should provide you with access to a MySQL database in order for you to be able to use this script. When they set it up, they will give you a username and password to access the database. That's what you need to enter in those fields.

There is a file named mysql.php that came with the download.

You are saying I should replace "root" with the file named "mysql.php"? Include the .php?

Do I just assign a user name to replace "user" or is there somthing else I need to put here?

al, you need to have an SQL database...you simple have to put the database's name and user. look for MySQL to set that up
