I found a script that I was able to modify to suit my needs, and wanted to let everyone know. Very nice script, and it actually met my needs for a relatively positioned div as well, which was the most important criteria. There's plenty of scroller scripts out there freely available, but nearly all of them must be positioned absolutely.

This one can be found at: http://www.dyn-web.com/dhtml/lyr-scroll.html. If you're in need of a similar script, I highly recommend it. My working example can be seen at http://www.forgetmenotphotography.com/dev/v02/

Thanks again for the assistance and recommendations.

Are you using a WYSIWYG editor such as Dreamweaver or GoLive?

Also, Have you considered (what am I saying) using frames or perhaps iFrame? Seems like a potential quick solution to your problem.
