    <description> &lt;p&gt;No, this is partly to do with the way the server is configured and partly to do with the way the browser is configured.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;There is no sure method. The best way, IMO, would be to specifically state &#039;please right click and download&#039;. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The other way is to specify a mime type of that file or folder where the file resides to be &lt;strong&gt;application/octet-stream&lt;/strong&gt; - this can be put in your .htaccess file that will insturct the browser to prompt for a save/download sialogue box.&lt;/p&gt;
