Win 2k Virtual Memory help
I have a P3 running at 450. 128 megs of ram, with a 12 gig harddrive. The harddrive has only about 5.5 megs used up. My problem is that when the computer loads up it says I am running low on vitual memory, and it has set it to 20 megs. I have tried changing it many times for instance Min. 200 Max 500, but when I restart the computer the virtual memory is not created. The error message will pop up again and when I check the settings under performance. The Min and Max are 200 and 500. I cant seem to have it create the pagefile.sys file on the C drive. I can do it on my Zip disk and it will keep it however the Zip disk is very small and also I can only get an 85 meg virtual memory file. Anyone have any ideas on how I can create and maintain the virtual memory file.

Before changeing the settings, close and dissable all kind og Antivirus software, since most of them monitors the pagefile changes.
Make sure that you are logged on as a administrator
