Need to download IE 6 WITHOUT SP1
Does anyone know where I can download a copy of Internet Explorer that does NOT have Service Pack 1.
I have searched the Web over and can't find it.

Find an old Windows CD, perhaps? Those freebie CDs magazines give away often contain browser software.
Why don't you want SP1?

I've searched every CD I have. The only one that has 6 gives an error message and can't unzip. All the others have 5.
I'm not sure why I don't want SP 1, except that I have read all over the Web bits and pieces about SP 1 causing all kinds of problems. And doesn't it do something to Java?
Am I incorrect in my thinking?

I have no idea. Ditch IE. Get Opera or Mozilla (Firefox) instead. For your sake and ours too.

SP1 kills the Microsoft Java virtual machine per a settlement with Sun java. Other than that it is pretty stable. Downloading the Java software from Sun Java isn't too bad and it actually works better than the Microsoft version anyway.

There are many sites on internet where can you download any browser. But i will prefer you filehippo.com is the best site for download any type of software.

I suggest you I you will go download.cnet.com site you can search Download IE6 without spl you can find out and easily you can download
