Hi everyone,

I'm currently looking for free software that supports USB to USB data transfers. I bought a transfer cable not long ago and was wondering if there are any other software (other than the one that came with it) to work it. I'd be really thrilled if anyone could tell me where I can download an application for Mac OS X that is also compatible with other computers.

Fingers crossed!

Cheers,
sumeiko

You want to copy files from one usb drive to another? If you plug them both in they should appear as drives on the desktop. Just Drag n Drop!

If you are using a USB bridge cable (standard USB cables could cause irreparable harm to one or both of the computers) then the best recomendation is to use the software that came with it ... another option is to use a third parties software. While the latter will not always work with your cable brand there is not a lot of difference in the manufacturing of the cables ... IOGear software ... this is a link to the IOGear site that distributes a Bridge cable ... the software may function with your device ... You will need to check the copyright/support information for the legalities of using this with your brand cable ...

Good Luck
