Anyone have a recommendation for a simple, but decent little program that will notify me of e-mail on an exchange server account?
I do not want to resort to MS office on this laptop, and like using the web access for exchange, but need something to notify me of new mail like every 5 minutes.
I did a search, and half of the results are things that work with outlook being installed.
Preferably something that will put up a box with the basic message info (and first line or two) then fade out over time, sort of what the full outlook will do.

Eh. I gave in and installed office....
But this would be a great thread to get search links in here, so by all means, please post any modern solutions. Mainly I was looking for something that interacted directly with exchange itself. no hacks for forwarding off to gmail or to my phone....
