Well that's what I was going to ask! What is the error, I have a bit of experience with DNS so might be able to help. Is this a local DNS server or one on the Internet? Secondly what is going wrong?

I'm confused. Are you trying to find out what error your server is generating?

What platform are you using? If it's Linux, could you tell us what distribution and DNS application (probably bind) you're using? If you're using Windows I probably won't know enough to help.

I agree with JeevsBond

Need more info with the exact error message if possible. You may also want to check the event log as you may get some error messages in there.
