Has anyone succesfully set this up on a Linux or Mac OS X box yet?
I've tried both and have failed pretty miserably.
I think I'm actually going backward in Mac OS X. I don't get far at all setting it up
If you haven't checked it out, aimsniff.com

I'm using it to try and monitor peple who are illegally using my network... so I can track them down

Any help?

What trouble do you get setting it up? The install file did a neat job for me... but I don't know if all that actually worked, I haven't tested it.

Edit: the sniffer runs and listens. I don't know if it actually works as far as AIM messaging goes -- I don't have an AIM ID. Should work though.
