Has anyone ever used/bought Ace FTP 3 Pro? They have it on sale right now and I'm considering it, but would sure appreciate a little input...there are so many out there it's difficult to decide which one to buy when you want to upgrade from a freebie! I'm currently using WSFTP_LE. Thanks much in advance!

I've never used Ace but WS_FTP has always fit the bill for me.
What is WSFTP_LE *not* doing for you? If it wasn't for the fact that I wanted the Windows Explorer integration and cross server transfer capabilities of the Pro version, I'd probably still be using the LE.
Oh and the ability to delete full folders is nice as well.
Come to think of it, I'm darned glad I upgraded to Pro
The product is still pretty cheap at US$40. How much is Ace?

It's 23.96 right now -or you can get it bundled with their HTML editor.
As for why I'm looking for something else, it's because I have nothing but grief with WSFTP_LE - it freezes, causes errors, times out, especially when uploading a large amount of files. It's messed up my pages and then I have to go back and find where it started screwing up - it's just been a pain!
Ace does offer a free version, but the pro has so many more features - many I've never had the right product to utilize, so I'm not familar with them. That's why I was wondering if anyone has ever actually had this version.

Thanks Eskater05 - I think I will do just that - if I love it a lot, I'm sure the pro will be on sale again in time, right!?

i guess...lol, i never bother to look because i just use the free...check the free one, its only got a little ad inside the program on the right hand side...no big deal
